The assessor gang did mention the power of suggestion earlier in the episode regarding the money demon they were hunting. He was seeing that direct contact with Lexis hasn’t been working so maybe now he is trying a more indirect approach. I wouldn’t put it past Leland to have had this plan in his head all along. Boggs being a person Kristen has to protect Lexis from - instead of Leland who we’ve been worried about all season. It’ll be curious to see if this is leading up to Dr. Instead, he gets Lexis on the line and she insists that he continue the story and even gives him suggestions on how he could finish everything. Boggs calls Kristen hoping to get her insight on the book, but she has somehow missed the concept of reading it in a mirror (since the words and letters are all typed backward). However, during “The Demon of Money,” Kristen’s daughters get their hands on his manuscript and discover it to be a horror story about a daughter killing her mother (curious if this will come to fruition).ĭr. ![]() Initially, we thought he was going to be writing a book about his experiences of being possessed. However, it seems a bit excessive to have her protected by four men in priest garb and sunglasses at all times - even when she is with the assessors. ![]() Yes, Grace is someone extremely useful to the church and therefore a threat to anyone trying to harm the church. It’s getting to the point where it comes across as a tad bit ridiculous. With only one episode left this season, we are left wondering if any of these questions will find answers by the end. Unfortunately, the reintroduction of Grace into the group adds more questions to the ever-growing pile. After all, you can’t hide anything from Grace - not even a missing husband. ![]() Of course, this also means that Leland and Sheryl are holding their breaths in slight fear. We finally get to see her in action enjoying life while also making prophecies about the church’s future and those around her. Fans of Grace Ling can rejoice because Evil Season 3 Episode 9, “The Demon of Money” focuses on her directly for the first time since Season 1.
